The first two days of EmployabilityUK’s new VITA pilot programme have taken place, marking the successful completion of the opening phase of this innovative new approach to employability support.
The initial stage focused on building confidence, self-awareness and readiness for the workplace, particularly for young people who may not always thrive in traditional learning environments. Early feedback from learners and delivery partners has been overwhelmingly positive.
Participants demonstrated high levels of engagement, with facilitators reporting visible increases in confidence, curiosity and willingness to take part. Early results from the pilot show 100% learner satisfaction, strong engagement from those most at risk of disengaging, and consistently positive feedback on the relevance, pace and overall approach of the programme.
Delivery partners and facilitators have also been praised for the professionalism and care they brought to the sessions, helping to create an environment where young people felt supported and motivated to push themselves.
VITA has been designed to bridge the gap between potential and readiness, and the opening phase has already shown the difference that purposeful, employer-led learning can make.
Phase two of the pilot is happening this week, and EmployabilityUK looks forward to building on this momentum alongside partners, employers and the young people at the heart of the programme.
VITA and the ESP represent two of the most exciting developments in the employability skills sector in 2026, and we look forward to introducing and expanding the programme with the aim of unlocking potential, strengthening pathways into work, and supporting young people to succeed in a rapidly changing skills landscape.
