Aspiring Futures

The Aspiring Futures Project is a dynamic careers education initiative tailored exclusively to Key Stage 2 pupils. This visionary programme emboldens young learners to embrace their full potential and set their sights high, as they prepare for the next stage of their education journey.

At the heart of the Aspiring Futures Project lies a singular mission: to ignite children’s passion for life-long learning and empower them to craft a bright and fulfilling future. From boosting confidence to deepening their grasp of essential life skills, this programme provides a vital foundation for successful transition to secondary education and beyond.

How It Works

With an innovative format that combines cutting-edge workshops with expert guidance, the Aspiring Futures Project delivers a powerful, immersive learning experience. Over the course of four 90-minute sessions, students will explore a wide range of topics, from goal setting and time management to careers exploration and beyond.

This results in a transformative, life-changing experience that equips children with the tools and mindset they need to thrive in today’s rapidly changing world.

Ultimately, Aspiring Futures is designed to unlock the potential of tomorrow’s leaders, instilling a growth mindset and a thirst for personal development as early as possible.

Journey to Success KS 3 & 4

The Journey to Success programme represents the cornerstone of our educational initiatives, serving students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 as well as those in alternative provisions and SEND. Designed with a keen eye towards meeting the needs of learners at every level, we offer tailored programmes uniquely suited to their respective key stages.

For those in Years 8-11, we provide seven powerful 60-minute sessions, culminating in a celebration of their progress. Guided by our team of expert educators, students are exposed to concepts like planning for the future, building resilience, and developing the confidence needed to make a genuine impact in their personal and professional lives.

Indeed, one of our core objectives is to equip students with the ambition and drive to make informed decisions around their future options – whether that means pursuing GCSEs, A-levels, graduate qualifications or apprenticeships.

Journey to Success KS 5

Those in Years 12-13 are offered a uniquely compelling programme, with nine sessions that culminate in a final celebration of their success. We believe in empowering these young adults with the knowledge and confidence they need to achieve their full potential and connect with professionals in the business world.

Our programme equips students with the tools needed to make confident, informed decisions about their future careers, studying at Key Stage 5, and progressing to university, apprenticeships, or the world of work.

With a focus on entrepreneurship, financial planning, and careers development, we strive to position these students for lifelong success.

We understand that the needs of learners in alternative provision and SEND settings can be unique. That’s why we’ve developed a programme specifically designed for these individuals, consisting of four targeted interventions that stress the importance of motivation, confidence, and the selection of pathways for the future.

We can deconstruct our regular programme to simply the language and examples whilst retaining all key features and learning outcomes.

Aspirational Assemblies

Our Aspirational Assemblies programme is a veritable tour de force of motivational speaking, geared towards the discerning sensibilities of KS3 students. Comprising five 60-minute sessions, this programme delivers a compelling, TED Talk-style experience, designed to inspire self-reflection and cultivate a deep understanding of one’s potential to think big and plan their GCSE choices and future.

Drawing from the lived experiences of inspirational speakers, Aspirational Assemblies offers strategic points of self-challenge, immersing learners in a world of boundless self-confidence and resilience, empowering them to set their sights high and achieve their dreams.

In recognition of the vital role of context in shaping the learning experience, EmployabilityUK continues to commit to sourcing the most accomplished and visionary practitioners and leaders from the corporate and industrial worlds, each with a unique ability to connect with and inspire young learners.

Challenger Suite

Our Challenger Suite programme is designed specifically for learners in KS5. This programme provides a unique solution-focused learning experience for students, aimed at developing key skills that are essential for success in the workplace.

The programme consists of six intensive sessions that offer learners the opportunity to work on real-life business problems. They work in teams alongside mentors and coaches from the corporate sector and industry to develop creative solutions to complex business challenges.

We understand that leadership and collaboration are critical skills for success in the modern workplace. Our programme provides an ideal opportunity for your students to hone these skills in a safe environment by working together to achieve a common goal.

A Personal Touch

In addition to developing key skills, our programme offers personalised mentorship, assessment, and live advice from experienced professionals in your students’ selected business or industry. This invaluable guidance will help them navigate the challenges of the business world and prepare for their future careers.

The Entrepreneur Challenge

The Entrepreneur Challenge is strategically designed to offer comprehensive support for the challenges that confront young people as they navigate the tumultuous waters of their future careers. This initiative equips aspirational young people with the skills and tools that they need to secure and then excel in successful employment, with a special focus on entrepreneurship as a realistic career path.

Over ten weeks, with each session utilising 60-90 minutes of review, instruction and discussion, a handselected team of bright and eager young minds will be expertly guided and advised by a highly skilled Business Advisor, supported by a member of staff. The culmination of this transformative and deeply rewarding journey will see each team compete against each other to win the Entrepreneur Challenge.

The Entrepreneur Challenge is a potent incubator for the development of powerful leadership skills, the fostering of exemplary teamwork, the unlocking of explosive creativity, and the nurturing of a profoundly positive, competitive spirit. The members of each team will receive the priceless gift of developing their financial acumen, perfecting their business strategies, and creating innovative and highly effective products and services, showcased in a dazzling final presentation.

Personal Development Days

We have developed a highly effective programme to empower the youth of today in overcoming the formidable challenges that may impede their career planning and progression with almost instant results.

Targeting the post-18 educational cohort, this day-long programme is highly customisable, offering a vast range of module options that can be seamlessly adapted to specific requirements. It is worth noting that the programme’s benefits are not limited to this cohort alone and can be flexibly modified to cater to any age group.

This initiative represents a significant leap towards helping young people unleash their potential and pave their way towards a prosperous future.

Throughout the programme, learners will connect with enthusiastic volunteers who will guide them through the intricacies of career planning and help them explore the diverse pathways and opportunities that lie ahead. With the mentorship of our experienced professionals, learners can commence work on the foundation of a fulfilling career and gain valuable insights into the skills and competencies they’ll need to succeed.
