Making a Real Difference
Impact and Achievements
EmployabilityUK has a proven track record of delivering impactful programs that address the employability skills gap and create meaningful opportunities for young people. Across the West Midlands, we have deployed over 1,000 volunteers and we have delivered our programmes to over 4,000 learners.
Some of Our Key Achievements and Impact
Coventry Building Society won the Responsible Business Education Partnerships Award for our Employability Skills Programme. Running for 8 years, we impacted over a thousand students and deployed over 700 corporate volunteers.
In 2024, we partnered with NCFE and DofE to shape our flagship employability programme, making a significant improvement in our programme and providing continued personal and professional development opportunities.
Our Inspiring Young Birmingham launch at Birmingham City University was attended by the Lord Mayor of Birmingham. Over 3 years, the programme helped 1500 young people to be ‘Games Ready’ in preparation for thousands of volunteering opportunities at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
We commenced collaboration with Active Communities to blend the impressive ambitions of this initiative with raising the confidence, aspirations and employability skill levels of young people in Birmingham. This enabled us to work with non education providers such as the Scouts and The Air Training Corp.
