We are delighted to announce the appointment of Paul Reeves to our Board of Trustees. (L to R Keith Fraser-Chair of Trustees, Lynn England-Vice Chair, Di Vernon-CEO EUK, Paul Reeves)
In July 2019 Paul left Clydesdale/Yorkshire Bank Group after a staggering 39 years’ service.
Paul’s impressive career started at the age of 16 as an office junior in Oldham and in 2006 he was named National Managing Partner of the Year Clydesdale/Yorkshire Bank Group.
Since leaving the bank, Paul has become a Non-Executive Director for one of the largest independent drinks’ wholesalers in the North of England as well as Council Member at Cannock Chase Chamber of Commerce.
Paul is a committed fund raiser for charity. Combining this with his passion for running, he has again this year completed the Virgin London Marathon in aid of the Dementia Revolution, a cause that is very close to Paul’s heart.
In the last 5 years Paul has raised a whopping £30k+ for his chosen charities – a phenomenal achievement by anyone’s standards.
Di Vernon, CEO of EmployabilityUK said “Paul brings significant experience and a wealth of knowledge to further strengthen our Board of Trustees. We are delighted to welcome him as we spring into 2020 with ambitious plans for growth and development”.
Paul said “It is a privilege to join The Board of Trustees for this vibrant, dynamic charity. I am committed to underpinning the ambition of EUK in making a difference to the lives of young people, both within and beyond the region.”
