Expansion into the East Midlands

EmployabilityUK announced today that following the success of their Inspiring Light project, they will be working with even more young people with special education needs and disabilities in the the East Midlands over the next year.

The expansion of the charity’s work has been made possible by the generous support of Ravi Bains (CEO) and the team at Sevacare who are part of the Grosvenor HSC Group.

Sevacare are providing free office space at their Hinckley offices for EmployabilityUK to enable them to build their portfolio of work with young people across the region. Having received excellent feedback about the pilot which involved 80 young people, they are aiming to increase the amount of students they work with to more than 250 over the coming year.

Ravi Bains said: “We are delighted to support the amazing work of Di and EmployabilityUK as they take their programmes in to new territory, helping young people that may need extra support to access the workplace. It is so refreshing to be working alongside a young charity that is actually getting out there and making a real difference’.
