EmployabilityUK Welcomes Janie Frampton OBE DL as Director of Operations

Apr 1, 2026

EmployabilityUK is pleased to announce the appointment of Janie Frampton OBE DL as Director of Operations, strengthening the organisation’s leadership as it continues to expand its national programmes and partnerships.

Janie brings extensive experience across the employability and skills landscape, alongside a strong track record of delivering complex initiatives that translate strategy into measurable outcomes. Her appointment reflects EmployabilityUK’s continued focus on ensuring that growth is matched by effective delivery, consistency and long-term impact for the young people the charity supports.

Janie is already familiar with the organisation, having previously served as an Ambassador for EmployabilityUK. This existing relationship, built on shared values and a commitment to improving opportunities for young people, provides a strong foundation as the charity moves into its next phase of development.

As EmployabilityUK continues to grow through initiatives including VITA, the EmployabilityUK Skills Passport, and the ongoing expansion of National Employability Week, the role of Director of Operations will be central to ensuring that programmes are delivered effectively and consistently across partners and regions.

Janie’s focus will include strengthening operational systems, supporting clear and consistent delivery, and ensuring that partnerships translate into tangible benefits for young people. The aim is not simply to increase activity, but to ensure that programmes lead to meaningful progression and improved employability outcomes.

EmployabilityUK looks forward to working with Janie as the organisation continues to build partnerships and programmes that support young people to develop the skills, confidence and experiences they need for the workplace.

“I am delighted to be invited to join the EmployabilityUK team and help them drive through their strategy for change in the sector. This is an important time in the skills space and I’m looking forward to working with the team to improve systems and outcomes for young people.”
