EmployabilityUK Continues to Bring the Power with Birmingham Air Cadets

EmployabilityUK with air cadets from Sutton Coldfield 495 Squadron

EmployabilityUK kicked off the new year with another fantastic session with the air cadets from Sutton Coldfield 495 Squadron.

Fittingly, and with resolutions at the fore, the year began with a focus on vision boards. While ideal at any time of year, we discussed how vision boards can help bring clarity to goals and plans for the coming year and provide regular reminders of what attendees were working towards.

The session was brilliantly delivered by our longstanding supporter, Kiran Channa, who discussed the benefits of vision boards with an active, engaged and highly interested audience.

Not only did we cover what vision boards are and the purpose they serve, but attendees also had the opportunity to create their own and to present them to their peers. We witnessed some fantastic ideas and an incredible breadth of plans for the year, spanning involvement with the air cadets and ambitions beyond the organisation.

This was the latest Bring the Power session, where we provide a raft of employability skills to attendees in conjunction with Birmingham 2022.

The relationship continues throughout the month of January, with another session scheduled for January 24th, with representatives of both the charity and Birmingham 2022 in attendance.
