EmployabilityUK at Hadley Learning Community
EmployabilityUK had the opportunity to do what it does best towards the tail end of 2022, as we attended the Careers Day at Hadley Learning Community school in Telford.
The evening session in November was attended by over thirty companies, universities and colleges. More importantly, over 400 young people were in attendance, looking to engage with exhibitors and representatives from across numerous industries.
While the focus was firmly on attendees and their career aspirations, the event also gave the EmployabilityUK team the opportunity to discuss our big plans for 2023 with the universities and businesses in attendance.
Speaking on her experience at the event, Krys Nosek commented: “Shropshire is an area in which we have not yet worked extensively, so it was a privilege to be invited along to share more about what EmployabilityUK is all about.
“As well as engaging with large numbers of young people from across the region, we also had the chance to build new relationships and raise the profile of the organisation among those that may not have worked with us previously, but could stand to benefit from the services and programmes we provide.”
