Practical Finance Programme

We’re excited to announce the upcoming launch of our Practical Finance for Young People programme, starting with initial pilots in early October.

This programme is designed to equip young people with the essential skills needed to manage their money independently. It focuses on practical abilities, such as budgeting and distinguishing between ‘needs’ and ‘wants.’ Participants will also gain a clear understanding of income tax, deductions, and the financial challenges that come with paying bills and taking on credit – issues that many young people may not be fully prepared for.

Practical Finance for Young People is available as a standalone, one- or two-day programme incorporating three modules. It also forms part of our Ultimate Employability Skills Programme.
It is highly engaging, featuring group tasks that promote creative and critical thinking, while also enabling learners to develop their teamwork and leadership skills. It is suitable for participants aged 16-24 and, like all our programmes, can be fully customised according to the needs of our partners.
