National Employability Week™ (7–11 July 2025) is an inspiring initiative led by EmployabilityUK. Our goal is to bring together employers, educators, and community leaders to support and empower young people starting with the West Midlands.

What is the event about?

With the theme this year of “Unlocking Potential – Inspiring Young Birmingham”, this week-long series will feature in-person and online events across skills development, sharing best employability practice, career inspiration, leadership and innovation, and the future of AI. We are inviting partners and sponsors to contribute to the event and help make a real impact on young people and the future of employability.
